Default Exhaust for IS250 AWD

Hey guys,

I was wondering for the is250 awd 08, do you change the whole exhaust? or do you just change the back axle? Is there even custom midpipes for the awd?

Examples:
HKS Hi Power
Greddy SE
F-Sport Exhaust.

Thanks

All axle back exhaust only. Unless you want your car too sound loud there no performance increase worth the money on mid pipe and none for awd at that. Because it not worth making for any company.

does exhaust actually increase HP, or just for sound effects?

Thanks

barely any hp increases. 5hp more or less so you can't really feel it. you will definitely hear a more aggressive exhaust note. i suggest you try the m2 axleback. it's less than $300 on ebay. i got it 2 weeks ago and i'm loving it so far. you can also get an intake for less than $300 and receive around the same hp increases as well as sound improvements.

Just upgrade the intake and exhaust on the 250. The cost and labor to install aftermarket headers isn't worth it, and nobody makes a midpipe for the AWD. You can remove the resonator if you wanted to, but I think that may make it sound worse. Personal preference of course.

You are correct.

If someone says that they can feel the power increase from an exhaust or midpipe, they are lying

Thanks for all the Incite.

I will probably do the HKS- Hi Power if i can find a good deal.
Also one quick question, Does the F-sport performance intake work with AWD models of the is250?

Thanks.

Yes it does. Regarding the intake, all 06-13 IS250/350 models use the same intake design. The only one that is different is the IS-F.

Does it work? You mean does it fit? Yes, of course.

Now does it look "off" without a rear lip? I think so

Worth it depends on you. Do you like the look and want the loud noise? This is the question.

I bought my hks used from a member on here. I have the stock midpipe and its pretty quite. I think if I would of payed full price it wouldn't of been worth it to me. They do fit perfect and look good to me. So it really is gonna come down to how much you want them. if your looking to buy them for performance then look at something cheaper because I didin't feel any type of performance gain. I do like how they sound on cold start though lol
