I moved this thread to the main GS300/400/430 forum because it was about 36+ hours since anyone posted a reply.. I think it needs more traffic

The 2JZG"T"E is turbocharged and the 2JZG (no-T) E is normally aspirated.

I might be wrong but the 2JZ GTE also has oil squirters on the bottom and the GE doesn't.

Bro, what are you trying to accomplish seriously? In thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...&threadid=69839 we have discussed the differences already. Are you trying to recreate a 2JZ-GTE out of a 2JZ-GE? You can't. I've tried... and went my route. If you absolutely want a fresh 2JZ-GTE you're going to have to buy one direct through Toyota Techno Corp in Japan. You have to specify VVT-i or non VVT-i. However, you're going to have to spend at least $11,000 for the complete engine. This is not going to cover shipping from Japan as well as US customs. The price is fixed, so no negotiations.

However, I can get you a fairly fresh one... pm me if interested.

V300: No, You actually already answered my question very well. I originally posted it here, and then it went like 72 hours without a single response or reply, so I figured I'd edit it, and say "Moved"... I moved it to the main GS Forum so that it would ge more traffic and someone would actually reply to it. But I appreciate you answering the question in the thread filed under the main GS forum
