If I have a 2IS f-sport can I somehow just use the mufflers and connect with these newer shaped pipes or what else should I be considering?

You can always use any mufflers to put on any car. Just comes down to whether you want to cut and weld versus a bolt on.

I noticed this morning that Sewell has a price up for the F Sport exhaust now, but no date yet.

Ahh I want it soo bad just dunno if it'll be worth it on a 27 month lease lol...I mean it's bolt on so I guess I could remove it and sell it before lease end :/ any advice

I hear you. CorradoMR2 built something similar with custom piping and Magnaflow mufflers that looks good. I've done similar before and it's much less expensive than going with the official F Sport version and probably every bit as good. Of course, you lose the warranty on your mufflers by going that route.

Any particular reason to get this vs the one JoeZ is working on? are the HP numbers the same?

No it comes down to personal option my car is a lease I just figured it be easier to get it directly from dealer and not have any issues

then again I've only heard great things about JoeZ

Also to anyone looking to buy these magnaflow anytime soon, people have them listed as high as $1200 just for the rear section (axle back), $422 sounds like a much better price.
