Was wondering if anyone had experiences or recommendations on what i can replace the stock resonator with? Since aftermarket mid pipes do not fit on the AWD, and deleting the resonator will be too loud for my tastes, thinking about going the custom route and purchasing a new resonator.

I currently have the tanabe MT and want to increase the sound with more 'growl' instead of its current deep monotone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone play with custom mid pipes for AWD? Would have thought there would be more interest...

 

I'm currently replacing mine with a Magnaflow straight through muffler, 14" can.... but do you know how wide the stock resonator is, 6"? 7"?

 

Unfortunately no movement on this and i didnt take measurements of how wide the stock resonator is. Keep us posted with what your end product, i'm sure it will benefit many of us AWD folks

 

I just installed a magnaflow resonator with the HKS hi-powered exhaust and Fsport intake.. Sounds ok, but I was hoping for a more aggressive sound!
