Default Misfire and mis shift

Installed joe z exaust system. When coming to a light ill get some back fire at times, is this normal? And I'm also getting some mis shifts sometimes any thoughts?

Well are you talking about some popping sounds as you're slowing down and the car is revving down? That's normal

Mis-shifts iono

Popping sound likes back fire when you're slowing down is normal especailly from high rev.

yea im thinking its backfire. But its weird when im getting on it from second to third it will redline over rev and shift. Is this due to maybe me laying off the gas at that point?

You have to give your ecu time to adjust to knew mod. It should stop. I agree backfire is common.
