What plugs you recommend on a VVTI GTE motor

Default What plugs you recommend on a VVTI GTE motor

i want to change the plugs on my Aristo, TT GTE VVTI motor. i cant read the manual cause its all in japanese, what plugs ahve u guys with your swap been using?

I have pretty consistently used NGK BKR6E plugs in all of my boosted cars. (MR2, WRX, supercharged Miata)The only downside to this is that they need to be replaced about every time you change the oil. At around $2 each, it isn't a huge expense.

I'll let others on this forum who have direct experience with the VVT 2JZ chime in with other/better options.

ive always used NGK 6 or 7 coppers gap to .028 on my boosted cars.people are saying that u have to use different plugs on the VVTI motor

The stock Denso plugs are PK20TR11

What plugs to use are subjective and you may get multiple answers from different people, as there are a few other plugs that have been ran on stock twins with good results..
