Does this look/sound normal?
Hey all, I have been lurking for about a year now, just wanted to use the forum to ask a couple of questions.Id like to thank everyone for all their input. I have a silver 98 gs 300 with about 138000 miles.Some of my mods are full exhaust, modified intake tube, o2sim, lowering springs, g37 18" wheels, and some other interior things.
Anyway, on to my current problem. About a week ago, I got a code for p0171, fuel lean. I then got another code for p1300 I think, bad igniter. I started pulling the car apart, and changed the fuel filter and sock. I also started pulling the injectors, to get them cleaned. i found that the car had oil on the plugs, so i started breaking it down to do a valve cover job on it. I found that the cams were bronze looking. Is this normal?
