Default For those who have Tanabe Medalion Touring axleback...help please!

Hi,

I just bought a used Tanabe MT axleback for my 2009 IS250 AWD....original owner had it on a 2006 IS250 AWD

Aside from the right and left pieces, it comes with 2 screws that attaches them together

Other than that, does a brand new Tanabe MT come with anything else?

I want to make sure I have all the hardware I need before I take it in to a garage to install

Thanks!

EDIT: should it come with 2 gasket? 1 between the left and right pieces, and another one to attach to stock mid pipe?

I had Tanabe exhaust before, it came with two crews and one gasket for that left side muffler and to the stock mid pipe there is no need the gasket as stock set up has no gasket there.

Thanks. That's the gasket I need.

He cannot find it, as well the screws are all rusted so I will be getting new screws.

But I have no idea where to find a fitting gasket since I don't know the size

Do you remember the spec of the gasket?

you can try find the gasket at local parts store or contact Tanabe, for the screws it you can find at the parts or hardware store, good luck,
Ps: the gasket is small I think the auto parts store has some close to it

Thanks

I googled and googled and found a post where somebody contacted Tanabe and they told him just replace it with a 50mm gasket with 2 standard mounting holes

I found one at local part shop for $2.99 +tx

Also picked up some Permatex Ultra Copper sealant for the part where the axleback attaches to the stock midpipe.

Will try to get it installed Thursday...Hopefully all goes well!

that good new, but the axleback and stock midpipe no need the gasket there, when you remove your stock axleback you will see no gasket there
