Default Universal Mufflers.

I'm looking to replace my stock mufflers. What are some good universal mufflers with tips? Please post pics if you have any.

Any particular reason why you want new mufflers? Why not just get an axle back exhaust?

Probably bc its cheaper. Is it really worth the extra cost to get and axle back? How much do you really gain in performance?

Around 5-7 hp for an axle back and maybe 2-3 hp more with a full cat back. I hope you didnt buy this car with performance mods in mind because if you did, you bought the wrong car.

I would suggest to just get an axle back, as its easier to swap if you decide on another exhaust or want to sell it.

is better to go axleback because install is much easier and you don't have to saw anything since everything is bolt on

with mufflers you have to chop off your existing muffler and wield on the new one and you won't save that much...i was looking at $400 for 1 HKS universal muffler and about $1000 for a HKS axleback so for the extra $200 is worth it, not to mention you can DIY and save the install too

warranty can be an issue too...you can just swap back the old ones or if you want to sell your car and the buyer demands OEM parts you can buy off somebody in the classified the oem exhaust and bolt it back on easy
