High idle?
Some thing is wrong and needs to be looked into. Try the following two...
Try turning the AC off. I experienced similar thing in another car, and the problem was in AC clutch. When the AC switch is set to ON, the throttle is raised to compensate the additional load of the compressor.
Try resetting the Engine ECU.
Enjoy mini power launches, at the expense of pollution, mpg and power train.
