Hello, I finally received my 2j aristo swap and everything was good to go except one thing. A broken VSV. I searched the part number on line and I could not find one that I could buy to replace it. Does anyone know where to get one? Ill keep searching but Im not finding much so far. I cant post yet in the Classified section so no luck there.

This is the VSV I found broken. it sits above the #2 turbo. That is the clip for the vsv with the broken piece inside of it. The vsv is the part just below where you can see some copper coil.
The one off the supra will work if i'm not mistaken or a 1st get aristo engine, I have 2 one from my motor and one off a supra currently on my car just let me know ill take pics so you can compare.
All the vsv's are essentially the same, it just opens and closes with voltage. They have different part numbers that dictate the orientation of the nipples and mounting brackets. Some are also 1-way and some 2-way, the one you show a pic of is 2-way, you can see the round debris cover over the atmosphere port.
If you still have your GE motor laying around you can steal a vsv from there and use it. The GE has a few on it for the evap and such.
I had a few of the twin turbo vsv's laying around out there, but I think I may have thrown most of them away when a couple months ago I was trying to douche out the garage cause it was pissing me off being a wreck. I check if I have ay left.
But yes, like japspec mentioned you can also go buy the usdm supra vsv and it will work.
As a matter of fact..im still driving my GE engine! So ill have to check and see if I can use one of those VSV's. But if any body has one they want to sell. Id like to buy it from them. Thanks for all the input people! Much appreciated. Im debating on starting a build thread. I have most of the parts ill need for the swap. I just got my exhaust and my 98 Aristo fuel pump from Japan today!! I dont want to be one of those guys that says "thanks for all your help, now Ill start a build thread" and never starts one. Id kinda like to though, a nice simple stock gte swap thread. Hmmmm.. I might just do it. lol
