F-Sport Exhaust Review (Videos page 1)
Just installed the F-sport exhaust on my 2011 IS250 AWD today. Reason I selected this exhaust was the fact it was a Lexus accessory part and most users found it was quiet in comparison. I've read countless reviews and watched numerous youtube videos before going into the purchase. I guess lesson learned, before you buy exhaust, ride in the car of someone else who has it and see how loud it is.
Cons:
After driving mixed city roads and the highway, I actually think I will be reverting back to stock. This thing is loud, even with all of the windows closed. The loudest is from 1500-2500rpm. It's a loud throaty sound but its really distracting to the passenger and consequently any conversations. I would not recommend for the working professional who has to drive clients or their bosses around (this is an individual preference of course on the threshold you are willing to tolerate)
Pros:
On the highway, there is barely a drone and it sounds nice when you're going full throttle, especially with the f-sport intake. It has a nice idle exhaust note and at lower rpm. It doesn't start sounding nice, in my opinion, until you go full throttle. There isn't a buzzing exhaust sound like some ricey exhausts.
This is my review, and doesn't reflect the opinions of other f-sport exhaust owners. Please feel free to PM if you have questions.

I've had my F-sport exhaust on for about 100-200 miles and its starting to get quieter. I don't hear it as much. But still when you're in the 1k - 2k RPM Range, you can totally hear it, but its definitely not as loud as when I JUST put it on.
Give it a like 400 miles.. if you still don't like it, then revert back and sell it. =P

Does it really get tamer or do you just get used to it? I prefer the upgrade exhaust tips from Sewell which gives you the look without the noise. The very best sound comes from the ISF, that is very nice but big bucks.
