hey where do you look for a good used one like you got?
i've been trying to find one and can not find anything but new.
If you can get it used I say do it. Just look for a couple of things like broken welds, damaged can and pipe and any internal muffler material showing signs that it's being blow out.

As long as you inspect it for any major damage, you should be good.
I also bought a used Tanabe Medallion exhaust from an ex-Club Lexus owner. It still works like a charm and a save a few hundred bucks which I can use for other things.
Don't forget to check the gasket, if it's damaged or missing, it'll cost you like 50 bucks for a new one from Tanabe.
You might also want to apply some Permatex sealant to both sides of the exhaust gasket before connecting up the exhaust at the Y pipe. That way, this will prevent exhaust leak from the worn gasket.
