Will a Mid-pipe make my exhaust louder?

I suspect enforcement varies greatly from one place to the next... and typically I think they're trying to nail shops doing this stuff, rather than individuals....

http://www.epa.gov/compliance/resour...lty-policy.pdf

this summaries a lot of it, including the range of financial fines and how they judge who to go after for how much....

I would speculate that in most cases (except maybe CA, which is a state of crazy people at the government level) a lone individual who was actually caught would probably at worst get a token fine and an order to put the car back to legal in a short time period or face further penalties... Now, if it's not the first time being caught things could be worse.

Cat Back and Axle Back, how is it not self explanatory lol?

On the other hand....has anyone has the Invidia mid pipe and the Megan Mid Pipe? It would be cool to hear a video of the same axle back with each mid pipe. I'm curious as to how the sound is different from both mid pipes.

Brociouz has a video of his F-sport exhaust with Invidia midpipe, and Hoovey2411 has the F-Sport with Megan midpipe. If you look for them, they should help. They were filmed at different times under different conditions, but the difference is still pretty clear.

I think you'll be more satisfied with the invidia

The Megan is supposed to be less raspy than the invidia. Both sound good, but I prefer invidia

I don't really hear any rasp from my Invidia/Greddy setup though. I'd still love to hear the same exhaust on the same car with each mid pipe.

Anyone have any picture of their Megan Mid? Each pic I saw was a generic mid pipe shot or the modded one with the resonator removed.

I need to hear Invidia/Greddy in person. Do you guys think it's as loud as HKS or quieter?
