Stock exhaust vs after market
I still have my stock exhaust on my GS4. Do most of you folks on here upgraded the exhaust or leave it stock to retain the quietness of the car?
Afterall, that is characteristic of a Lexus.
I like the quietness. I have a Chevy truck and Nissan 300ZXTT and they both have cat back exhaust.
I would think adding a louder exhaust would take away from the luxary feel of the car.

AZ,
Many folks here have upgraded exhausts. I chose a comparably quiet one (Borla) compared to some others - but its still quite noticably louder than stock.
If you want the looks of aftermarket exhaust but like the quiet stock sound, get some chrome tips (several have put either Borla or L-tuned tips only on their car).
Here's a similar active thread with some options being discussed.

I switched from the stock pipes to the blitz nur spec exuast for my gs400 and it made a world of difference. The car is a little bit fatser and the big pipes are a must since i have a kit on the car and they fill out the back bumper nicely. Also the sound is perfect for a gs400 its not to loud but it has a nice roar to it when you hit the gas and it sounds like a true V8 now.
