Default 2jz gte stock twins

Hey guys, I have a 99 gs400 and I'm planning on doing the 2jzgte swap.

Does anyone know how much power can be made with just the stock twins? I've been hearing a mix of numbers ranging from 350whp -450whp with the stock twins. How truthful is that?

between 350-400whp is realistic with bolt ons and pump fuel, depending on the condition of your engine. 450whp maybe with high octane fuel and a tune

Thanks for the input. I guess the question now is if that's enough power to at least trap somewhere near 105++

I hit factory speed cut in the 1/4 with stock twins before I had Nitrous. So that is about 112 before the traps.

It knock away the speed cut sensor so you can drive until u feel like stopping or until you can't handle anymore....

When I had my supra on stock twins full bpu the car ran between 402whp and 450rwhp depending on weather and quality of pump fuel. Jdm twins are smaller ceramic props. They spool faster but have less top end.

The VVTi turbo's are larger than the US spec turbos, and steel wheel.

since always.

also, the ceramic JDM turbo's have always been larger than the US steels. Bigger compressor, smaller a/r.

The VVTI turbos are still ceramic. The only turbos that have steel turbine wheels are the USDM supra turbos.
