How much for paint Job??????

Hey guys I just got an estimate to get my hood & spoiler painted, and pinstripe removed. about $550. Does this seem like a good price?? any comments or suggestions, are welcomed

Sounds like a decent price to me.

I got an estimate for $1000 to refinish (remove pits, etc) my hood and bumper and repaint the hood, front bumper, grill and TTE lip from a good shop in Charlotte.

sounds good

sounds like a fair price. i recently went to have an estimate done for repainting my hood and front bumper and two tiny dents taken out from a hail storm that hit a few months back. He said he would do all that for round 800. he does excellent work and has done several show cars...he doesn't use dupont paint anymore i believe due to the fact that there paint had a recall a while back...least round here in ky....thats what he said...and it was not staying together with the clear coat...which causes the clear to chip and break away anyway..

IMHO, the quality of the job is much more important than the actual price (as long as it is within reasonable limits).

How much is worth to you to re-paint the car if someone does a lousy job?

Hom much is it worth to take them to small claims court to recover your money (think money and time)?

Kind of makes the price difference seem small in comparison...
