Tapping Oil Pan on GS400
1) Question about this matter, whats the best way to tap the pan? better yet, whats the best way to tap for oil drain?
2). regarding the oil pan. Is it a simple unbolt and drop? (with the needed cutting of the gasket)
3). where is the best place to tap? which of the corners, how high? (dont really know where the oil level is at
)
4). where is the better place to tap for oil? Sandwhich plate or Oil Sensor?
or suggestions
Thanks!

Well, it's like any other pans. Get a tap and dye set and tap it out. It's most recommend that you do not use a too big or a drain plug or else you might ending up cracking the the pan. In cases like this, it's a 50/50 chance, either you succeed without dripping oil or you just fail, in worse case buy a used oil pan.
