Thanks for the update, Joe Z!
^^ It won't be too much longer for the IS350 Polished Intakes..

As they Do Not go through the additional anodizing color process..

Still no call back from my voice mail last week or email back from 2 weeks ago! Guess I'll just try them after work again today and see if I can catch someone this time....

^^ Unfortunately, the Blue Intakes are a limited run in each prduction batch..

We didn't anticipate that it would be a hit amongst the IS members here..

They did receive a good amount of Blue back in mid February, but they sold out quicker than expected..

I will do my best to speed along the process to make sure there are no further delays during each phase of manufacturing..

Later today I should have a time frame on IS350 pipes finished in phase 1.

Will keep you all posted.

Also, will work with Luis at Carson to remind members who purchase the Intakes, that the Standard Available color is BLACK

Polished & Blue are on a first come, first serve basis and only available when in Stock at their Dealership..

Best Regards,

$210 before discount if you need the couplers though so the Joe Z is still cheaper, plus goes toward a community member.
Thanks Kurtz! With CL discounts, it came out to $150, couplers included. I'll see what the next response is from L-tuned on the polished intakes and decide if I want to cancel and go with the F-sport.

There is a reason why we are back ordered..

OEM quality?
I won't get into that discussion, since the parts are not made by Lexus.

I will state as a reminder that MY Intake was released in 2006... the other version was released in 2008...

Will keep the rest of you posted on pending intakes.

Best Regards as always..

Hey Joe Z! What's the word on the polished intakes? I've got my fingers crossed!

And on the patience part, np, would rather my money goes to a CL member than Lexus themselves!

Good News..!!

I just got the call that they are ready at the Polishers.. So I am heading out right now to go pick them up..

I am going to get a handful of Polished Intakes built and completed for Carson this weekend.. So they should get just the Polished Intakes by Monday or Tuesday boxed and ready to ship...

Also, by Monday intakes will be delivered to the Anodizer to be colored Blue..
So I hope they can turn them around quickly so that we can get Blue Intakes in Carson's hands by the end of next week..

Best Regards,

And I really do thank you all for yor patienece..

Because you forgot to click on the "intake tube" button to see the price of that item and you're instead looking at the price of the air filter.

Actually, you have to click on "intake tube" and "coupler hardware" and add both to cart. If you register there as a CL member it'll discount the package down to right around $150.

No difference from what i've read. F-sport is a copy of JoeZ's intake. Only difference is if you get the F-sport lower airbox. It works on either and will make ur car louder, no additional benefits.

What does the "coupler hardware" do?
