Anyone have this problem?
Is there a fix?

Thanks
You shouldn't be able to hear any drone or the exhaust above 3k rpm; that's normal. But in terms of the in-cabin noise, it'll quiet down after you break it in. When I first got it installed, the drone was really loud and borderline annoying for long drives on the highway. It's gotten a lot quieter and much more tolerable now.

I love my M2, best money I've ever spent on a car. The drone is there around 5-6k but who cares, I love stepping on the gas and hearing the axleback growl.

Nope, axleback exhausts are legal. And it's not even that loud; it's quieter than the F-sport exhaust, which is legal in all states.

To my knowledge, they are the only site that sells them brand new. Or you can camp out in the classifieds or craigslist & wait for one to pop up....but it may take a while

Found on Craigslist, looks like we may have a successor to the M2...

DPT Motorsport Exhaust

Found on Craigslist for $205 for those in California

As compared to the standard M2 Exhaust

$205 vs. $299.99?

I've the M2 on for about a year now, and it sounds better than ever. Not very loud, but nice and deep. Although we don't get much in the way of weather in the Phoenix area, it still looks great and is holding up very well. I have about 30k miles on this exhaust now, still the best bang for the $ IMO.
