if you read into the context of what i saying.... learning had to do with customer service and not their mechanical skills. i have not once said anything to demote either jeff or gte of their abilities when it involves cars.... i, personally, dont care how much they know about cars if they dont know how to treat their own clients. but i am not trying to deter anyone from going there, just letting it be known that they are capable of making mistakes, just like everyone else... and im am very glad that they have made you happy..... so happy that you will probably defend them to the bitter end.
i will not defend them nor anyone else...unless I have had a bad experience....in which you have with them......
but once again...its cool...i know what you mean...and its good that you let everyone else know from your experience...as it will give them something to think about...
no problem bro....ive been in this long enough to know that everyone has different situations that they are encountered with...so i know were you are coming from

We are on the stock fuel rail and 550 cc injectors. The injectors don't create the extra hp at 7 psi over everyone though. It comes down to the tuner. PHR's kits use the GT-60 turbo, but it is not the GT-60 you buy off the shelf. They spec the turbo to their exact needs. Then, the tune obviously can add or decrease the hp levels. The design of the exhaust manifold makes a difference too. Remember, all turbo kits are not created equal. They may look the same, but the design of the kit will be unique to each shop.
Now, I would like to say to Sentinel, PHR has been tuning the 2JZ engines since 1994 I believe. I think everyone on the board would agree that is long enough to prove they are VERY reliable. PHR is as reliable a shop as anyone out there. They put down more horsepower, at the same boost levels, than any other shop out there and that speaks for itself.
My car is now at 413 rwhp at 12 psi, but we got 431 rwhp at 12 psi before smoking out the clutch. When the car is finished, we will blow away 431 rwhp and easily surpass the 500 rwhp mark.
Well we all drive is300s not supras or sc300 or gs300 so for me at least your time with is300s is all that counts lots of shops have experience tuning supras.

Do you have the 5MT? I think everyone will agree that 400+ on that tranny is pushing it and 500+ will pop it for sure. Do you have tranny upgrades planned?
