Default need info on 2jz swap

hello everyone..
i am new to this forum..
just purchased a 99 gs300..
the bad thing..is that it needs a throttle body..does any one know where i can purchase one..i heard its hard to find.any one have one for sell?

also..i am going to do a swap in a few weeks..i was about to order a 2jz engine today..
just need to make sure i order the right one..

anyone have any feed back on how to do the swap...what im going to need

any info would be greatly appreciated

up in the tool bar there is a search button there is many many threads on this subject .. just search around youll find something there is also a classifieds were you can find a throttle body there should be plenty out there i found one laying around at my local lexus dealer

thanks for the info

would of been nice to see some more feed back...

i decided to just get rid of the engine thats in it..who knows what that mechanic did to it...he started it up with a screw driver in the throttle body ..

i might of found a engine

i have a full functioning throttle body assembly , head ,block basically whatever you need

also doing the swap would be easier and cheaper to use a 2jzgte vvti , non vvti is a wiring nightmare.. i just did the swap last week into a 99 gs 300.. the swap with the vvti will cost you upwards of 6500 ish if you are paying for the job to be done .. things add up quickly .. pm me if you want the stuff off the original motor

just found a 2jz vvti...think im about to order when i get home from work...
