A late model Subaru wagon nearly took me off the line on the entrance ramp.

This leads me to believe it's time for a tune up. Any suggestions of what other items I should do aside from cleaning the air filter? Possible cleaning the throttle body.

I noticed the other day it was having trouble starting. It same thing happened a while back but, went away. My believe is that it wasn't starter as I thought but, bad gas (lower octane) and old plugs.
