IMO I like the sound AFTER the res delete, some people don't like the loud sound, but I aparently do

In all fairness, the first video was taken by my phone, the other was taken with my camera, so there might have been some sound differences... it sounds more "throatty" now, before it sounded good too, but not "throatty" as I wanted it to be.

Nice. How is the drone now? I have the hks as well and was thinking about deleting my resonator too.

Big difference. I just installed my HKS as well...debating whether or not to delete it.

Has anyone installed the HKS Hi Power and believe it to be too loud? I am looking hard at this for my '06 IS350, but do not want to install it and find that it is irritating when driving. I have read that the Medalion exhaust is the quietest, then the F Sport, and then the HKS. Really stoked over the HKS, but would hate to put it in and then find that it is annoying loud at highway speeds. No issues with hearing radio or talking on cell phone?

Mine wasn't too loud, it sounded nice. But that's because I have only the mufflers and the Y pipe. I'm thinking about adding more to it to make it a little louder.

Have you searched on Youtube? there's a lot of 350s with HKS

It gets pretty loud at around 75-80mph for me when I'm on the freeway, but I LOVE the sound, people can hear me when I'm on the cellphone, but they hear the exhuast as well lol, but I always get good comments...

IMO get it if you like the loud sound, it hasn't annoyed me at all, I love it, expecially in the tunnels, it sounds sexy, and turns alot of necks!

Thanks for the input. I have watched countless vids on Youtube, but we all know that things don't always sound the same on the computer as they do in person. I think I am going to go ahead with the HKS. I have no immediate plans of running a mid-pipe, so it shouldn't be too loud. I love the drone and the rasp that I am hearing in the HKS vids! Need my valve recall gift card to hurry up and get here!!!
