The Joe Z is about 5 hp.

Everything else is more money for the same, or lower, power gains.

(and none of the above is enough to "feel" but at $125 for 5 hp the Joe Z remains the best hp per dollar mod available for the 2IS other than maybe nitrous.)

joe z will give you gains in power, but no loud intake. doesn't matter what filter you use. paper filtrates the best and there's no difference in power between filters. i think caymandive actually lost power with a blitz filter.

k&n will probably result in a loss of power but will be loud if you're only into noise.

if you go with a short ram intake. i say go with one that uses a dry element and not oiled.

The F-sport is basically a copy of the Joe Z, with a replacement lower airbox that has a second hole drilled in it to make noise above 3000 rpms, but as far as anyone can tell, provides no functional benefit other than noise over the Joe Z.

(some Joe Z owners have gotten the same result noise-wise by just drilling a similar hole in the stock lower airbox)

That appears to be what he's saying but he has no idea what he's talking about...

But folks have done independent dynos of the Joe Z, which he'd know if he'd taken the time he's been using to spout off in ignorance and just run a quick search.

To cite one example (from a well known member)

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...ly-tested.html

Gained Peak numbers of 5.23hp and 5.26 peak ft/lbs of torque

WoW… LoL

ALL of my R&D Dyno's on the IS250 & IS350 from 2006 were indeed Independently Dyno Tested & Proven by SP Engineering here in Southern California...

And that's a fact "jaxxx"..

Best Regards,

Joe Z
