Default PureOne PL20195 Fits The GS300

EDIT:Fits all second generation Lexus GS models! (see responses below for pic verification! Thanks to all who posted pix)
I don't know if this has been posted before (i did a search and only found 2 references, both were "yeah, ok, it works..." with no pics), When i first thought about this I wanted pics of a 2JZ running this monster filter. But I didn't find any. So, here ya go. The PL20195 fits and works great on a 2000 GS300. No problems to report after 5K miles. Pic is iPhone 3G quality, sorry.

Correct. The 1UZ-FE (GS400) uses the same filter as a 2JZ-GE (GS300). Same for the SC models. No promises on size constraints for the V8. I don't have one.

Great! My 4runner, solara and GS3 all use the same filter! Time to buy in bulk.

http://www.amazon.com/Purolator-PL20.../dp/B000E8T83S

EDIT: i just bought 5 for $31.20 shipped from amazon since you have to buy over $25 worth to get free shipping and 4 of them were $0.04 short of the free shipping. i guess im gonna try these instead of my MOBIL1 filter i been using for years now

anyone know a place to get a magnetic drain nut in our threads?

sam why dont u snap a pic to show fitment on the v8? maybe then OP can change title to PureOne PL20195 Fits The GS

Napa Gold are about the best filters you can buy. They are made by Wix. I have some spreadsheets at home from a few engineers that tested over 10 filters. They scored close to the top. It's all I use.

I'll see if I can dig it up.

larger oil filter = marginal larger oil capacity = marginal gain addition to miles on the oil = more oil = more energy needed in case the oil starts to burn??

me has no idea. teharhar
