I know this may sound dumb, but I assume that this would void a current Lexus warranty, correct ?

Yeah, you are right. The engine warranty is out the window, but who cares??

you would think that with SRT working with Lexus on most recently the IS300, they would be more open to allowing aftermarket companies like SRT to provide these upgrades and allow for the warranty to remain intact.

Doesn't Audi allow customers to "chip" their cars and keep the normal warranty?

Maybe SRT one day will work out a deal with Toyota/Lexus so they can sell their products (branded Toyota) so people like us don't have to worry about warrantied problems down the road...

That would be nice.... But for now if we put it in and something blows, it comes out of our pockets.....

I guess I need to lobby my dealership to carry this, and to put in writing that it will not affect my Lexus warranty.

(Hey, it could happen! )

cong28, I live in the valley as well and have my IS serviced at Van Nuys Lexus. I am aware of Ed lujan and he is the goto guy for the SRT products. Please can you tell me if the turbo setup is CARB cert.?

If you want you can PM me. Like to know more about the details. I would like to see the setup when it is finished and take a ride in your GS. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Well guys, I talked to Mo earlier today and I was convinced that this Turbo Kit is for real. So I went ahead and purchase the Stage 2 w/ a Tranny Valve Body Upgrade and a Tranny Cooler.

This includes:
Turbonetics 57 Turbo, all necessary hardware, Front mount intercooler, hard piping, injectors, plugs, and SRT Engine A/F Computer. 7.5 PSI Max Boost.

I can't wait for them to ship it and have Ed Lujan from Keyes Lexus to install it. I'll give you guys all my updates when it's finished. It will be done by the end of August so please have patience cause I'm trying to keep mine. I'm trying to convince Mo to ship it early for me so I can have it for the Big Meeting in Mid August. We'll have to wait and see.
