Question about breaking in Tanabe MT
After approx. 1 week from installation. I still see white smoke coming out from the mufflers. How is a typical break-in? The manual said 1-2 days. Is this normal?

Usually smoke can result from... stuff burning off. Like grease (if you sprayed any). The plastic packing inside the exhaust is breaking in... and etc.
How often do you drive you car? Is it thick white smoke or just you can barely see white smoke...?

I could see barely. And it smelled like burning polymers (don't wanna be specific, plastic, cause it could something else). It's gone thought, I think. I just thought it's not normal to break-in in a week, while the manual said 1-2 days. I drove about 300 miles on the day I saw the white smoke.

Usually white smoke or something should be normal... since the packaging still needs to burn off inside the exhaust. Which is normal... When I got my medalion touring I had some smoke stuff for a couple of days cause I barely drove my car at that time. But slowly went away later on.
