Default Question about breaking in Tanabe MT

After approx. 1 week from installation. I still see white smoke coming out from the mufflers. How is a typical break-in? The manual said 1-2 days. Is this normal?

I could see barely. And it smelled like burning polymers (don't wanna be specific, plastic, cause it could something else). It's gone thought, I think. I just thought it's not normal to break-in in a week, while the manual said 1-2 days. I drove about 300 miles on the day I saw the white smoke.

I just had mine installed yesterday and I'm experiencing white smoke as well, but I was told it was normal... I hope mine doesn't last for a week.

Mine lasted for almost a week. It was cool though, no more white smoke now.
