Video Clip: IS350 w/F-Sport Exhaust/Intake & Invidia Midpipe
#16
I updated my first post with two more videos I took about an hour ago driving back to the office on (and under) a bridge and in a parking garage, so the sound is amplified in both settings.

wow. thanks for the hard work brian!
I am still 50/50 about getting the invidia midpipe. The videos did give me an idea of how it would sounds like.
I am sure this is something that is not for everyone. Just have to hear it in person to to really make a decision. Thanks again man!

Thanks for the videos! I might have to reconsider about adding midpipes to my f-sport haha. Sounds good and different, but not sure if I can handle it because it's my daily..
btw, can you do a cold start video when you have the chance? thanks

Fourth video added to the first post highlighting the freeway drone.
Yeah, these videos come close to representing the tone of my exhaust setup, but you have to be there in person to get a good idea of the loudness.
That was my goal.
I'll try to do a cold start video, but it will probably be a few days since I don't plan on driving my car for a while. I can tell you it's very loud on a cold start, even at idle.

hey brian. what does it sound like when your just driving regularly at the normal speed? each one of your videos shows you flooring the car at certain points (which is great), but just interested in how it sounds like when driving at just a regular speeds of 35-45 mph? maybe nothing at all?

I'm hoping I can find some guys in the Bay Area with different exhaust setups then take one continuous video comparing all the sounds (that way the recording device isn't a variable). I'm particularly interested in the F-Sport twins with a Megan midpipe. That setup might be easier for people to stomach since Megan keeps the secondary cats.

A+ for the complete report. Your setup sounds similar to mine but it so hard to really judge with camera mics.
Nice work. How many miles are on the exhaust in the videos? It may change some with a couple hundred miles or so.
