even auto and open dif, they do drift... video!
lol. i liked it. my buddy put it together w/o the out-of-car vids. but yeah, i'd rather go 45 sideways than do an acceleration up to 190 again. speed and acceleration get boring quick....
the tire folded in half so that the wheel never hit the ground to get destroyed. it was pretty awesome. we blow out tires all the time, we were just lucky to randomly throw the camera on that wheel right before it blew.
the vsc is a "braking/abs" traction control system and the torsen diff isnt a 2way or welded, so I dont see an issue transferring power. i would worry about it with a supra dif, a clutch type might be another story. i hate vsc, i even slid a run with it on, all it does it kill your power and throttle response. the only thing that works well with the vsc, is snow mode. i dont really get stuck ever, but i normally drive in the snow in PWR mode and vsc off, way more fun!
also, my car is still rockin the NA 2j and 5 speed trans, it will be different with the TT swap and the 4 speed trans in terms of power bands
well stock is open diff and it blows. i mean, i still wear both tires, but it sucks when transferring weight and transitioning. if this car was purely drift, i'd just weld the factory diff. what is our factory rear end ratio? i actually have no clue. but yeah, torsen dif > stock open diff

ye but the diff in the gs300 is a torsendiff if im not right! and in the gs430 its open. So i only spin on one tire. That u dont do on ur gs300. Thats why so many buy a supra tt/auto diff to these gs430.. The stock ratio on mine is like 3.9 i think and supra 3.76..
I believe you are incorrect. I believe we have an open differential, not a torsion diff.
I noticed today, when I purposefully slid the car, on dry pavement, the car is a freakin PIG! Totally heavy! Peg Leg sliding, it was too easy to keep the car straight, rather than keep it risky lol.
I'm back on stock suspension though too, that might have a lil something to do with it. Definitely want some coils again!

IF I do get another set of coils, I want to try out the Air Force or whatever ones, the ones with the cup kit for $2500. If not a cheapo D2 or Megan if I get get a good deal on them next tax time.
