Default Supercharging Destroys Cats?

I have read that supercharging destroys catalytic converters. Anyone have knowledge in this area or more importantly - experience?

why not just yank the cats out altogether?? That's what I did and love it.

Supercharging does NOT destroy cats..... improper A/F mixture DOES destroy cats....
