A fly by would be sweet ...

It will be very loud... like tons of nasty droning and silencers will hurt your performance and gas mileage, go with Tanabe

u won't get the same tone/sound w/ the tanabe, it'll be quieter and different. yea the rasp with still be there. but the HKS balances out the Rasp w/ its tone. IMO the tanabe doesn't. its kinda hard to explain.

but all in all, it wouldn't be as loud as my cousin's STI or any of the WRX's stuff out there. but i don't feel i should be that loud in a lexus

Tanabe is wayyyyy to quiet for my taste tho.... Does the invidia tanabe combo make it significantly louder and better sounding ?
Anyone have a clear clip of it outside not in a garage or closed. Enviroment
For a more accurate sound

Yeah the hks has a nice beefy sound to it .. That's what I'm looking for. But if the tanabe combo
Can make an aggressive sporty sound I'm down with that too

I had the Tanabe with the secondary cats removed and honestly you wouldn't want it louder than that in a luxury vehicle (my 2 cents). It had that exotic raspy tone at high rpm which sounded awesome. The Invidia midpipe will only make it louder in terms of decibels but won't change the tone compared to a stock mid-pipe without secondary cats.

edit: I'm speaking from personal experience as I also had the HKS Hi-Power and have the Invidia mid-pipe on my car now

Mv350 has just midpipes with stock mufflers, and it has alot of rasp in it, sounds good still by itself but its too much rasp for me w/ no deep exhaust tone. what i'm trying to say is. i like the rasp and the exhaust tone to balance eachother out. from your experience w/ the midpipes and tanabe's, the rasp stood out way more than the tone of the exhaust right?

Tanabe/Stock mid-pipe with secondary cats removed I didn't notice the rasp as much but more so the deep tone the Tanabe offers by itself but louder. Anything past 5k rpm sounded exotic like and very attractive. My 2 cents of course

You could also try the greddy se exhaust. i have the megan mid and greddy combo and it sounds sick. Don't know how much of a sound difference their is between the megan mid and the invidia mid.
