Does anyone know how hard it is to install the srt intake with the ECU? Does it require any electrical experience or can the average person install it? How long would the process of installing it take? Thanks for all your help guys!!!

 

It is fairly easy. Just read the instructions carefully. Total time it took me was like two hours. I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right.

 

hey does any 1 know how much the srt intake or the area 51 intake is ??? and also does any 1 know if they make a cold air intake from any company for the i.s 300 thanx

 

area 51 and SRT go for about 500. they both come with a piggyback ecu. most ISers swear by the SRT as being the best but some other users have said they dont work well the with headers. something to keep in mind.

other manufactures make intakes for the IS like AEM, Ingen and Rod Millan. they go for about 250 to 3ish but you'll need an Apex SFAC dyno tuned to get the best performance.

The SRT intake comes with great directions, it was pretty easy to install.
