Dang! You GS guys are rocking the boost! I love to see 1UZ's boosted. COngrats on your progress and accomplishments. Keep us updated. I will have to continue to lurk over her some more. Not too much going on in the SC section for boosted 1UZ's lately...Other than a handful of cool guys.

So here is the jist of the install:
3" polished aluminum pipe
12x24x3 intercooler
ATI P1SC With Lextreme Bracket
autowerks bypass valve
walbro 255 hp in tank
3.9" pulley
ngk v power bkr 7e plugs
stock everything else

custom made front hood support bracket because I had to remove the original for the front mount, as seen in pictures.
had to do a bit of grinding on the front, near the head lights where the intercooler pipe comes up and down near the end tanks where the pipes come in to meet the intercooler.
The biggest issues I found was trying to figure out the idle issue like we spoke about and the intake pipe to the procharger. I had to do A LOT of fine trimming and grinding to make something work. You don't see it in the picture yet because I haven't got the filter. Also the horns need to be relocated, as seen in picture. I will update you with the pic. I only want to run somewhere around 4-6psi that way not having to worry about detonation. I'm not planning on driving it until i have a wideband and boost gauge. You say that with the 3.9" I should be somewhere around 6psi?

Here is a link to lexteme forums where I purchased the bracket. It is the fish 2.

he took the SC off....im assuming since one it wasnt his SC (per what he said) and two im thinking he had ECU issues. he did try and sell me the WHOLE kit though and then he listed them on here and on CL also....dunno if he ever sold it or not.

i was excited to see a SC gs430 though

Brian you are right...I took off the charger due knock sensor issues. I thought the charger, because it is loud, was causing the issue. It was not. After I replaced each bank @ 150 bucks a pop, car ran fine. Had some financial issues, now back to work. Basically life stuff. I still have the kit and will be putting it back on, I hope.

Ok, enough! NO more turbo, no more supercharger for the 1uz vvt-i. Just bpu and add 75-100shot and done deal plus save urself some gas, and should get you close to 400crank. Not fast enough? Get a 300 and turbocharge or sc it! If not, buy a faster car. Jus IMO. I was looking at sc'ing my sc400 vvti, but it just seems like a pita. Thought I was getting some where with this thread but turns out to be a no go.
