Day 1 is complete ! The supercharger is mounted up in the car, and ready to go.. tomorrow we shall mount the lovely FMIC, do some clean piping, and then fire this motor up!

It's mad cold up here, and the rain isn't making it any better.. but that won't stop us from making any vids outside the shop!

 

SICK!!!! how long did it take for the mounting and placement

 

I got some pictures to while we where engineering this kit. I know it is going to make sure good power. I did CFM flow charts of the blower and the last supercharger had to small of an intercooler. If this happens you choke it, and your just not going to make any power.

Wait till you see this car, and this Supercharger system boys. Get ready to drool all over your chair...hahaha. If any of you are near York, PA, stop by Mugsy's Repair here and check out the car and me and Javed.

Which car is getting boosted anyways? The IS250 or the IS350C?

I don't know why people didn't think the LMS SC was worth the money. I honestly would have paid $5500 for it. The car is night and day different and so much faster than stock. Keep in mind its not the fastest car on the street but it holds its own.

 

^Because people love to hate on things that have no idea about.

$5500 is still a princely sum, especially when you consider that the price doesn't include installation. I'd love to have a boosted IS, but I don't know if I would be willing to drop that kind of loot for a supercharger. The alternative option would be nitrous, I guess.
