hey all, Grazy here. What's the best or recommended choice to go with for is300 intake, exhaust, and header? i'm looking for better performance. don't know what's best and i'm stuck deciding which to go with.

list of names?

intake - SRT Intake w/Race ECU
header - ?
exhaust - ?

thanks guys

yeah i was planning to boost it but i was like.. naw. i'm just gonna make it a beauty car and make it run better. i was thinking if i want a fast car, i'll just get a second car instead in the future. most likely an MR2 Spyder with k20a motor swap.

i was looking into OBX headers, from what ive read they seem to give more power in the lower to mid range of the rpms, it already seems good to go on the high end so i figure if i do that then thatll create more even distribution

If you want the best NA power gains for the $$$ as far as exhaust
go ebay, due to the fact that they don't comply with any
emmissions cuz they're suppose to be for "off-road use only"
but we all do it, atleast till we save enough money to buy better and proper stuff later
but that should hold you down till you go turbo.

I bought my car and it came with generic cold air intake, and i did a complete ebay headers to exhaust, got pretty good response out of it.
The only thing i changed after that was switched to a Kakimoto 3in axleback with a 4.5 in tip
wich boosted up the response by a bit but it is noticeable and improved the exhaust note. all in all i spent $250 vise 500+
but it should hold me untill i get the car back to japan and get the twin turbo setup =)

depending on the header you get the exhaust will make the difference also. don't get something with like a 2.50 piping header and a 2.0 exhaust one. get it? Don't get anything above 3 for a non turbo IS. Your not going to have enough back pressure and will lose power instead of gaining HP haha

just as an example i'm running 2.5 in piping all the way to the axle back and the axleback is a 3.5 in piping with a 4.5 tip

deep exhaust note with a better response, very small HP gain
never dyno'd her but i would have to guess a 10HP gain
