Question f-sport exhaust question..

i installed my f-sport exhaust almost 2 weeks ago n jus felt like asking a few questions to make sure its not just me. 1) looking at the rear of the car, does the left muffler stick out another 1/2 inch to an inch more than the right? 2) does the right muffler get 10x dirtier than the left? n 3) what do u use to keep them shinyy? thanks for any help i just noticed today how one sticks out more.

I have the lexus HKS [identical to F-Sport except right muffler]. The right muffler on the F-Sport is actually a dummy muffler... there is just a straight pipe going through it. Nothing to trap the soot lol. Thats what makes it louder... Just use some chrome polish to keep em clean.

As for one tip sticking out more than the other, just double check your connections, make sure the pipes line up together and are flush where they meet up...

On mine the right side hangs lower than the left. I use Blue Job to keep them shiny and it works wonders: http://classic-motoring.stores.yahoo.net/blchpo.html

My Lexus HKS is a lot dirtier on the right muffler too. I ask muffler guy why he said it's the way pipe is made. The right pipe is a bit shorter so all dirt gets more on right side. It's nothing to do with dummy muffler on F-sport.

thanks guys..i brought it to the dealer to check it out, n let them do the dirty work on the quick shifter for a legit price so im happy..there is that notorious LEAN on our IS's and that's what makes them sit differently like Buds stated above^. aside from that, on f-sport springs dealer sed i may have tapped the ground..driving down to the jersey shore i took rt 280 was my only guess because ur doin 65-75mph and they are constructing it and any jersey guy will vouch how the dips are rediculous..wen i asked my friend that was drivin behind me yesterday he sed he remembered sum sparks after bumps..well that was wat it was, guess i ain't movin to coils haha. literally, just on springs my exhaust is rediculously low to the ground. uyyy!

Yeah 280 is mad, I don't drive over 50mph on that stretch from newark to west orange. The dips are massive, I can feel the spring compressed to the point where the shocks hit the bump stops
