Toyomoto's kit costs 5000~7000? Do they sell the kits separately or do I have to go to Florida for the installation?

Post Toyomoto

OK everyone, especially Globe, here is the run down on Toyomoto. Because the 98'+ GS's have OBII that makes the car much harder to work on. The OBII has to be eliminated and they use a standalone- Haltech . The stage I (340 RWHP) will give you approximately 400hp at the flywheel. They cannot send out any kits, all the work on 98+ GS's need to be done there. The price is $10,500 installed. He told me that there are a few 98+ GS's running around the Ft. Lauderdale/ Miami area and one person has a stage 2.5 which yields 550 ( not sure if he meant hp or RWHP but either way it's alot). Now for the pre 98' 2JZ-GE, they are much easier to work on, due to OBI ( and no VVT-I). The prices on those setups will be like what I mentioned in previous posts. The stage one is $5500 ( uninstalled) ( 340 RWHP) and the stage II is $7500 ( uninstalled) and will give you 400RWHP. Apparently you can't go wrong with any of thier setups and so far the few members who have used them seem to have not had any problems with them.

The only pic I saw of this car on the road was on the back of a trailer!!

This is just one of list of crap Toysport did to my car almost two years ago. Obviously you don't hammer the front reinforcement! I have a list of autrocities committed by the shaddy director Joel Luz.

V300, that does not look too good.
I understand fully why you do not recommend people going to them.

globe why dont you find a pre 98 GS/SC engine and do a swap wouldnt that make things alot easier than trying to work with the 98+ engines?? and those engines have a major amount of modifications that can be done to them

Why don't you get a SRT Stage 3 Supercharger, runs about 315-330 rwhp? I'm planning to get that on my car as soon as they release it, some where between middle of May and June. Price: $8,750-$9,000. You can also have it installed by Ed from Keyes Lexus. He charges $950 for installation. And the only reason I'm going with SRT is because I can't afford to ship my car all the way to Miami.

I can swap in a 97 GS300 engine with no VVTi, yeah then I can pay about 5000 for a turbo for that. But including the 4000~5000 for swapping the engine, it'll come out to be the same amount, and without VVTi. Don't really wanna go backwards, and engine swapping an older engine is illegal. If I can do that I'll just swap in a Supra TT engine. Even easier

SRT stage 3...... I'll see how it performs when it comes out. Too early to make any assumptions now. Plus I'm biased towards turbo and ALOT OF JAPANESE PARTS (not to be rascist or anything)
