You should call them and tell them your coming to get the car... honestly with this much horse **** the kit should be free and they should have made your car payments especially if its just sitting there collecting dust its a waste of a beautiful car.. It may be time to let this one go..

Didn't someone go checkout Wierdazndu's IS about a month ago and forgot his cam at home and took it with his camera phone instead? Why doesn't he post the pics and give us all some insight about the car??

Running on 4 months now, still waiting for the progress update or completion date. I would definitely go on a mission to find out what is up with your car by talking to them face to face. If it was me, I woulda flipped out long ago.

despite being a (yes, i admit it) critic of boosting the is350, i am supportive of what you're attempting to accomplish. however, being that your car has been gone THIS long and that updates have been few and far in between, i think there should be legitimate concern on your part that not enough progress has been made.

there are enough links to threads in other forums that have clearly shown that kenny isn't the most reliable person on the earth. if you give him enough benefit of the doubt, then i applaud you for optimistic and realizing the goodness in people. however, can't you help but wonder what exactly is going on over there? imo, this does not bode well for any of us considering taking our 2is's over there, and certainly does not do any favors for kenny's and turbocharger.com's reputation.

i do hope you get an update soon, and that visible, timely progress has been made. otherwise, i believe it's time you pull the plug on this experiment and bring your car back home with you. you could continue to invest time and faith in them in hopes of a properly-functioning turbocharger system, but then you'd have to ask yourself how much longer you will have to wait - and if the wait is worthwhile.

continue to feed us updates, and best of luck.

hey weirdazndu!!! idk if you know this but that green is350c that fox marketing is building is said to have an artisan single turbo on it... im just alittle confused cuz if he has one on his is350c (which im pretty sure is the same engine as the is350...could be wrong but still...) why is it taking so long for yours to get done...

thats just confusing to me

Houstonians need to join together and go see what's up. Have an 2IS interrogation. Just kidding?

But in all seriousness, +1 to projectDNA. I would be the same way in hoping to find goodness in the situation and be optimistic, but it's a little sketch that you don't have at least weekly updates on the car. You're a customer, just like the rest of the people that are at their shop, and this reflects very poorly on their customer service. Say they do successfully turbo the car, they have done it in a manner that has made a lot of us not trust their company. Maybe you should give a little hint about that to them if they keep this project sitting out to collect water spots from Houston rain.

I feel bad you've been without your car this long. That's torture...

Went around Kenny and talked to sean over at turbochargers.com. Heres the email that i got.

"They are about 75% done with the kit. The underside of the car is done, and they are finishing the intercooler side and throttle body piping.

It's on the ground right now, but they should have it up in the air early next week, and I can send you some pics."

Should be easy to take pictures of the underside, with the car on the ground...
Even if he just sends them to you only, for no posting.

With 75% done... There are at least 2-3 pics that can be taken..

Just my honest .02 cents!
