JoeZ Street Version Exhaust vs Tanabe + Megan??
How much louder will I be with Megan mid pipe since I have Tanabe? The Tanabe is damn near silent, I have more noise coming out of my engine than I have coming out of my exhaust. I want a little more pep in my step and a few more hp. Also, will I pass emissions with the Megan mid pipe and will it throw off Check engine light? Can someone link me to best place to buy it?
Also, following installation, would I be able to fit the stock equipment in my trunk? Or would I be S.O.L.?

I don't have it equipped, so I can't answer the first few questions, but your stock exhaust will not fit in the trunk. You'd either need to dispose of it, or get another vehicle with fold-down seats or space to accomdate it.
Thanks for the answer, I already have the Tanabe exhaust on, I just need to swap the megan midpipe
Tampering with the cats is illegal, unless they need to be replaced for specific reasons. Anything reward of the cats isn't going to affect emissions, and so it should be fine. This is why Lexus is offering the F-sport unit as a legal replacement, for example.
Decisions decisions. The Megan midpipe removes the secondary cats all together right?

^We make a Catless version as well...
Keep in mind we are talking about the secondary cats here..
The primary Cats on the manifold are doing all the hard work and im sure these cars will still pass a sniffer test with out the secondaries in place...
The secondaries are what help make these new cars ULEVII ...
Its ALL ILLEGAL when you start modding cars.. LoL
Tint is illegal in CA, along with smoked tail lights, brighter headlight bulbs and being too low..

Just that smog is the only thing they check every five years, that's what makes me iffier about doing that than any other mod. I saw that you were able to use some of the stock exhaust pipe "covers" and you fit them around the thicker pipes for that oem look.
How difficult was that to do? I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to do it...but don't want to hassle with the inspection.
I'm leaning more torwards the street version as it won't be as loud and catch as much attention, a tad hair more subtle than the race version..

Also wondering, how many 250's have the JoeZ Exhaust?
