Default Best Hi-Flow Filter for F-Sport Intake?

Getting an F-Sport Intake installed tomorrow and was wondering what the best filter would be for it. I'm new to performance mods... do "Hi-Flow" filters really do anything in terms of gains?

Perhaps the filter that comes w/ the F-Sport Intake is good enough? No idea, let me know what you think, thanks!

The stock filter already flows more than the engine can use- the one that comes with the F-sport intake is just fine.

Thanks! Hows about when it comes time to clean this? Should I look into a non-oil filter replacement, or should I just clean it using the F-Sport Cleaning kit from Sewell? I've read the oil filters aren't good because they can screw up something??? Help a brotha out!

Also, whats the reasonable mileage I should clean it at? I've read 10K & 30K?

The F-Sport filter isn't oiled; just clean it with the kit from Sewell and you'll be fine.

Lexus recommended interval is 30k under normal driving conditions, less for severe conditions. You could even keep using the paper filters with the F-Sport air box if you want to avoid the cleaning process.

I thought the F-Sport cleaning kit came w/ some sort of oil... hence me thinking the filter was an oil type...

It comes with cleaner. IIRC, the intake has a big sticker that says "Do not oil the filter" on it too.
