Default Bad experience with ordering intake from Swift Racing

I ordered the intake from "Swift" on 12/02/2008 and no peep from them. I sent an email out - no response. I had to call them to get some kind of input,. The CSR said that I will get the tracking number the same day (the day I called).

Tracking say delivery on 19th. Well, on the 17th, I checked to see the progress of the shipment. LOL, it's still says "[shipping statement sent to UPS]"... I knew that they were buying time (for what reason, they are not up front about telling me).

Well, now it's December 19th... nothing was stirring - not even a mouse.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and do a charge back pretty soon. I think I read about someone else having similiar experience with SRT. They probably didn't get enough purchase in to make the order and distribute - I don't know But I should have bought the Headers instead to get real performance.

Just FYI for people considering about ordering from them.

If it doens't go well, I may have to do a search engine optimization so that people searching for SRT intake will see this thread. We'll see.

Wow that sucks. Do you want mine? I also have an APEX NEO piggy back ECU available for $300!

that sucks, sorry to hear about that. Doesnt make sense why they cant respond to your email, thats just terrible customer service. The problem with aftermarket companies is that most have bad customer service, and they dont care because they know you will continue to buy from them because they have the products. There are a few companies on here that have excellent customer service, and those are the companies that I choose to deal with. Hope they get you taken care of soon.

Well I'll tell you this much, with the APEXI neo, you can actually set your own tuning, rather than just keeping one strictly with SRT piggy back. Search forums on this, definitely something to think about.

SRT is not a bad company and they are not fakes. call them again and ask to speak to Moe he is the owner, if you want real results go straight to him. When I bought my intake I had a small issue and I called him up and he took care of it that same day. Don't go give a company a bad name just because you've waited two days longer than expected, this is a busy time of year just give them a chance ...

FIY my personal experience was perfect with SwiftRacing's enterprise. I'm leaving in France and the transaction via eBay was perfect.

I would have been okay to wait even a month from now if they would have told me that they don't have the items in stock yet. But they play me as a fool by giving me a freakn tracking number to stall time - I don't like that kind of *****.

They should've been more upfront.

Kill the order with SRT! Get the SS headers, I couldn't tell the srt intake/ecu did anything besides make noise, I have nothing against SRT but if u want to feel a diff go headers, no questions asked

I do agree with you, so do what I suggested and call SRT directly and ask to speak with Moe and share your concerns with him ...

I agree SS Headers will give more performance total but I disagree with the fact that SRT has done nothing but make noise. After dynoing my car before and after the intake I gained good rwhp an tq numbers, don't remember exactly what they were now I need to find the dyno sheet (it was at least 10+ rwhp and 15+tq). But the SRT definitely is worth it IMO ...

I will get the ss next. I hope the combination does not reduce power.

The SRT intake with gain you NOTHING in the quarter mile.....that is the true test. I am one of the few who ran it and then ran it with an Injen intake and gained nothing. You can dyno all you want and feel warm and fuzzy with what you see on the paper.....a waste of money imo opinion. Aren't they bankrupt as well????
