Question about F-sport intake
#18
looks like itl fit, if i was you id get the JoeZ pipe 1st. if it fits, then just get a drop in high flow filter.
if you want the sound of the Fsport, then make a whole on your intake box in the same place as the Fsport intake has it.

I have the F-sport and I love it. sound, looks, quality, and WARRANTY is what sold it to me.
Its more expensive and you dont get any more gains, you just get better sound. I got it because it says F-sport, looks good, and it sounds mean perfect but not too loud.
I think the sound of too much intake like K&N instead of exhaust and engine is what civics sound like.

The intake on the car is a box and a tube. There's really nothing that could possibly go wrong with these parts that would need to be covered under warranty.
The only real advantage of the F-sport over the cheaper and just-as-well-performing Joe Z solution is that it's legal in California.

PM Javy or someone and find out the USDM OEM intake part numbers and then we can compare them to ours. Thats really the only way to know if it will fit for sure, cause even if it looks the same there might be a fitment or space issue

Here you go guys!!!! This should help you...
If your IS300 intake matches one of these, then you are fine...
Left = IS250.....................................Right = IS350
- Joe Z

^It looks like it'll fit, but with that amount of dust and debris that you guys get in the middle east, there's NO WAY I would run an intake that has another hole in it... I would just run the Joe Z pipe instead.
*EDIT* BTW, the USDM part #'s for the OEM intake tube are different for the 250 and the 350. 250 is 17881-31120, and 350 is 17881-31090. There are a few subtle differences in the intake system between the 250 and 350. For example, the 250's front air duct doesn't have a resonator. The 350's duct does. Also as you can see above, the 250 has a larger resonator on the rubber pipe than the 350 does.

Yea goot pt bout the dust and intake hole.
Thanks alot javy. the Middle East 2nd Gen IS300 part numbers for the OEM intake tube is 17881-31180
I guess all models have slightly different intake tubes, I guess now we will HAVE to do picture comparisons. However I think it will still fit
haha i was just playin..

hmmm upon further inspection........... looks diff enough in shae and fitment that it probably wont fit, ours is very simialr to the 350 one the tube that sitcks out of the part below the resonator looks a bit diff, plus there seems to be a more of a bend at the lower, unless its the rubber tube for the 250/350 also bends a bit when installed
*EDIT* ok obviously i have no idea what im talking about, anyone with some experience wana chime in?
we need someone to take out the and take a pic of it on its own for further verification
