Tanabe exhaust question!
Questions for anyone who owns a Tanabe exhaust.
I am planning on buying one too but i read that many people say its not loud enough. I want to know does it sound anything like the STOCK 350Z exhaust? (Louder or softer than the 350Z exhaust)
I actually want something very similar to the 350Z exhaust if not a little bit louder. Any advice for which exhaust?

I just installed mine today, it is a bit quiet but i mean if you want something louder then get the HKS.

to me i think it sounds louder then a 350z. i dont know but i think its loud enuff. if you want it to be more loud why not hks or the fsport one. both are good. and if u have the money to me the joe z one is the best imo. i have the tanabe and it suits the car just fine. i didn't want it to be loud on long trips where my son can't sleep in the car.

the Tanabe doesn't sound anything like G35 or 350Z
I used to have Tanabe on my IS and I got to say that it is definitely louder than the Stock exhaust..but it's not super loud..
once you get your Tanabe, you will notice that your Tanabe is little deeper than G35 or 350Z, but it won't be louder!
I don't know how loud you want your car to become, but IMO, anything louder than Tanabe or Lexus HKS is just too loud for our car
and I got to admit that my current set up might sound too loud for IS
but I love it~! lol

I think its the perfect sound for this car. Its a nice sport sound and many said they thought it sounded like the G35. I heard it start in or out of the car and I would hear it when I got on the car. If you want more from here you can always pull the mid pipe (megan) and replace for more sound.
If you want to be loud IMO you have 2 options. Get the Borla "off road" full exhaust or the JoeZ Full set up that is the race version also....I wouldn't recommend the HKS if you are looking for sound or performance.
