My car isn't exactly the ideal drag setup lol. First of all, it's EXTREMELY heavy. I weighed it at the scale at the track which is accurate within 10lbs. My car was 4050lbs with no driver lol. Keep in mind I have a heavy system in the trunk. Also, I was getting no traction at all. I was also running on street tires with them still at street pressure of 42psi. I only had time to get in about 4 runs that day, so I didn't have a chance to dial it in that well. I lowered the pressure on one run and I nearly went into the wall because of the tire condition. I didn't realize until later that the tires I ran on were down to the threads on the inner edge due to neg camber wear! My car would get really squirrely at 100mph+ on the track. I was so lucky I didn't have a blowout!
Anyways, enough of excuses. I'm rebuilding my car to be better this time around with a stronger transmission and a HKS T51R turbo. I plan to take my car into the 10's once the drag strip opens up again in the spring
Below is a picture of the tires, look at that inner edge of the tire! I was seriously lucky it didn't blow out on me!!!

I'm tearing it down for a complete rebuild right now. I've been working on the auto trans and doing some serious research into it. I'm currently rebuilding 3 transmissions all with different setups and will all be track tested shortly. Probably in about 2-3 weeks I'll be able to post some times. Previously my trans would hang briefly in the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts before kicking over. Hopefully I'll be able to shave off at least a good second or so off my times after the trans mods.
My best time ever was a 12.8@123mph on Michelin PS2 295/30-19 street tires heh. I basically spun like crazy and went nowhere for the first half of the track then I hooked and took off about half way lol. That run was on 25psi boost, I plan to go back soon with drag radials and boost at 33psi soon. I'll try to make a pass first on street tires to see what I can do, and then do the drag radials to see what she's got.

Sorry took me a year to notice this and reply. Mods are many... Relevant mods to this quarter mile time are 275/35/18 nittos, borlas with resonaters deleted,S&S headers(cracked at the moment),28oo t/c,trd lsd carrier with 3:73 gears,VB upgrade, srt intake, and rear traction bars. Im certain the car can run better than a 14.01 but since I did the gears and T/C my traction is terrible!!!! I think my best 60ft time was around a 2.1???? Not for sure id have to look at my time slips.Im gonna work on my 60ft times this year and I think a mid to high 13sec is a realistic goal.

Was it 103MPH as I have updated?

Nice 11.77 is still on the top of the list. I'm gs30062-1 now what u see, been out for a while. Well I hope 11.77 stays up there. Well here is the specs on that car for anybody that would care.
2jz-gte short block 1.6mm headgasket weisco pistons
Stock gs vvti head vvti disabled
AEM EMS
Turbonetics 62-1 .58a/r exh. side on a turbo east manifold
550cc RC inj w/ walbro 65psi
3" exhaust done myself
-8 stainless fuel line -6 return
powerhouse fuel rail
twin power ign box
A340E (supra trans) rebuilt myself with level 10 kit w/sprags controled by AEM
to much to remember the 11.77 120 mph was at 18psi and BFG DR

I plan to go back out soon, my new twin disk is in now and the car is hooking up pretty good on the street with those drag radials. No offense but I find 120 MPH on a T62-1 with a .58 at 18 psi / pump gas very hard to believe. Look at Jeff Tsai MPH and my MPH. I would be happy to see 120 - 122 MPH at 18psi on my Precision 74 mm turbo. At 120 MPH with a 4000 lb car you would be making about 550 RWHP, I don't see a little T62-1 doing that.

a 75 or a 100 shot would explain it or maybe race gas and 28+ PSI of boost. Just look at the times on page 1. stock twins and n20 running 114 MPH, thats probably 450 RWHP at least. ropadopa on stock twins running 107 MPH BPU (400 RWHP). I'm just saying a T62 with a .58 might be good for 520 RWHP at 28 - 30 psi. I used to own a dyno / speed shop and my GS had a T60-1 on it prior. No way will a T62 on a full weight GS300 through an auto at 18 psi will run 120 MPH. I smell a ringer. Good run regardless. It's still the quickest time right now. My precision 74mm turbo at 18 psi might break 120 MPH on 93 octane, maybe, so far my best is 117 MPH. My motor is healthy and I'm running a 6 speed which saps far less power than an auto.

I'd be interested to see what your car weighs in at then. With 100 octane you were probably running more boost than 18psi, Maybe your boost gauge isn't working right.
I'm going to try to make it to the track Wednesday, I did some street tuning with a 50/50 mix of 93 Octane and 110 Octane last night, At first I had some misfire at higher boost over 20PSI, swapped in some new coils and plugs and the misfire is now gone. Got the tune pretty good but my wastegate stuck open during my last pull at 25PSI, need to pull the wastegate and check it out. I'm cutting 2.1 60 foots now with these tires, I was running 117 MPH at 17psi, so now at 25 psi I should be around 125 MPH in the traps. That should be good for mid 11's at least.

Well sorry but it wieghed the same as any gs300 maybe more with the turbo stuff. As far as boost gauge being off I ran the AEM 150$ sensor for the ecu the boost level was readings from datalogs. So i dont see that being off. ]

I would venture to say that the high MPH was due more to wheel spin. The more wheel spin you get the faster the MPH and the slower the ET will be. I did not look for the time slip for the 11.77 run but i would venture to guess the 60' was in the 2.0-2.2 range. With at 1.8 60' that same setup would go ~11.65@117-118.

I would like to see it, his car is pulling off the line like a V8... My buddy had a really fast C4 that ran 12.0 @ 117 MPH with a 100 shot, that car would pull BPU Supras all day long, for his GS300 to pull 11.77 @ 120 seems like a hell of a launch, maybe it's the stall setup but I still think there was some spray involved. I would like to see his 60 foot time too.
Anyway, tomorrow is the day, I'm going to the track on kill mode, no more excuses. I just spent $110 on filling up my car with race gas, spent this morning reinstalling my wastegate / boost controller as it wasn't installed correctly, I only had the side port of the wastegate hooked up, so I reconfigured it per Greddys instructions. I have some dyno time set up at Titan tomorrow, then I will be heading straight to the track to take down the #1 time.
