Hey guys.

Here's my dilemma. I checked and everyone told me that the Magnaflow Muffler model #14829 would fit my 2002 Lexus GS300. I do need custom piping.

Well today i took it to one muffler shop and they said its impossible to fit it onto my car. Is this true or they dont know what they are doing? I have already purchased both and they are Magnaflow Model #14829.

I need some help and i need it ASAP.

um...homie, i'd look into another shop. the 14289 is THE muffler, recommended by magnaflow for our cars. this is based upon flow, height, length, width, and depth, as well as inlet and outlet. I'm not quite sure what theyre talking about...

theres no way, the 14829 is a UNIVERSAL muffler meaning it would fit on to any car.

Thats what i thought. He said "itll touch the side of the bumper" from the inside. then he offered for me to trade it in for two of his. Cause i told him i got mine for $214 shipped. I think he wanted to jip me.

more than likely. one shop around me quoted me 478 for the two mufflers and to weld them in. Seeing as you spent less than that for your mufflers, he was probably trying to make a quick buck off of you, but; now you know better
