joe z intake

How exactly does the Joe Z pipe producing HP???? From what I can see, it's just a polished one piece pipe. That's about it.

Smoother airflow compared to the hose it replaces.

Note that the -stock- intake already provides more air than the engine can use, so none of the aftermarket intakes will really add any power due to "more" air. The Joe Z doesn't try and simply offers an improved path for the air to take, and does it for a lot less cost than the other intakes that try to fix a problem that doesn't exist.

Perfect answer. Does anyone know where to buy this intake now with finish options? I found it on carsontuned.com but they offer the matte black only. I think I read this pipe was sold to someone for resale? Thanks.
