Question...JoeZ intake pipe

This may be a repost but I'm new to this forum so please excuse.

I have an '08 is350 and am considering getting the JoeZ intake pipe. Does anyone have any experience with this or other intake pipes?

Thats a good one to get. Not loud and adds real hp dyno tested power. Pair this with the K&N filter.

Does the JoeZ intake give it a nice roar at high RMPS? I think Joe said in the for sale forum that Carson is restocking by next weekend, So hopefully there will be another group buy.

thanks for the speedy reply and the k&n filter is exactly what i was planning on pairing it with sense the stock box is so efficient. btw the install looks easy enough to do yourself, am i right? or is it difficult to remove the plastic cover?

good pipe. keeps the original oem filter box, less of a hassle with the authority in CA, "cant have open filter intake blah blah..."

Thanks for all the help, I just placed my order for the JoeZ pipe and I will be ordering a K&N air filter soon, unless someone has a better recommendation for an air filter.

Very true. K&N filters aren't very good to use with cars that have MAF sensors. People tend to over-oil them when they clean them, and the excess oil migrates to the sensor.

If you damp/dab the filter with a paper towel to take out the excess oil before re-installing you will not have any problems with the K&N (oiled cotton filter).
