Borla and KN..or..or ?

Borla and KN..or..or ?
Just got my 08 IS 250 awd (made sense here in IL...) and my local tuner shop came up with a Borla exhaust and KN intake, claiming "significant" power increase... anyone out there with experience on this combo ? I am thinking Borla might be too high pitched or..?
