Default Display options

Is their anyway to add options to the Display system on the 250/350 gauge cluster? I noticed on the IS-F it has a secondary display with two other gauges. It would be kind of nice to add something like Oil pressure Amps/Volts or a real water temp reading other than the number less analog gauge that is about as good as an idiot light.

The nice thing about new cars is, that all those sensors that most people don’t have an idea about how they work are easily taped into via the diagnostic port, so if something like the MSD Dash Hawk can read just about everything the computer is doing then what is stopping any of us from hacking the stock system and using the stock display?

Just a crazy idea.

Thanks, Neil

Well the IS-F has a upgrade display vs our 250/350s, oil temp and oil psi for 250/350 would probably have to go after market. Small gauges sticking out on your a pillar or steering column. IMO it kills the clean look of the interior.
